Overview

For its member organisations to work together and stop domestic violence and abuse to ensure the safety and empowerment of victims and their children and to bring perpetrators to Justice.

What we do

WDVF has 3 major aims!

For its member organisations to work together and stop domestic violence and abuse to ensure the safety and empowerment of victims and their children and to bring perpetrators to Justice.

We also offer an independent service to victims before, during and after court hearings via the criminal justice system support services co-ordinator (CJSSC). The CJSSC liaises with criminal justice agencies, tracking bail conditions, relaying information back to the victims, attending court hearings and appointments, accessing translation services and understanding safety plans etc.

For victims who report to the police but whose cases are not being pursued through the criminal Justice system, the domestic violence link worker based at Bilston  street police station, offers an advice & sign posting service directly or through translation services.
