Every family is supported to enable every child to reach their potential and grow up in a safe secure environment. We aim to give children under 5 years of age a better start in life. We work closely with the local agencies and parents to tailor services to meet the needs of the community. Agencies we work with include Health Education and Social Care.

Overview

We work closely with the local agencies and parents to tailor services to meet the needs of the community. Agencies we work with include Health Education and Social Care
What we do
One of our main priorities is to empower parents to become knowledgeable in the early development stages of their child's life. Some of our parents may need additional support where other agencies are involved. We work with parents to ensure all the right services are in place at the right time.
We offer one-to-one sessions within the family home or arrange centre-based appointments at your convenience.
The service is for families with children aged 0 to 5 years old, and the areas of support we offer are:

Home Safety
Well-being of your child
Domestic Abuse
Post-natal depression
Benefits, Debt and Housing advice
Behaviour Management
Parenting
Signposting and bring agencies together to meet the needs of your child
Support with children with additional needs/disabilities
Our team of family support workers also provide support in a range of community languages. We shall try our best to meet your preferred language need.
The health, development and emotional well-being of children are at the heart of the family support service. We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
