The Princes Trust

Youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps disadvantaged young people to get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

The Trust’s programmes give vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work.

Three in four young people supported by The Prince’s Trust move into work, education or training. The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped 825,000 young people since 1976 and supports over 100 more each day.

Overview

What we do

Whether you want to develop your skills and confidence, get a taste of a new industry or just want some solid work experience under your belt, our free courses will help you get to where you want to be.

We work with companies - including M&S, the NHS and Tesco - to help give you the opportunity to gain work experience and get job specific skills, help with your CV and interview techniques and access support for finding a job once you have finished the programme.

In need of a boost? Team is our 12-week personal development programme.

It might seem like a long time but, with a residential, community project and work experience thrown in to develop your skills, it really does fly by.

Want funding to train, learn or to help you get a job? We offer Development Awards which can support you with a range of areas to make studying or working even easier.

Where we do it
