Top Church Training

The overall purpose of TCT is to interrupt the cycle that leads to disengagement, isolation, helplessness and a lack of aspiration faced on a regular basis by vulnerable people.

Our overall aim is three-fold; to encourage self-development; independent living and to become a net contributor to the community.
In order to achieve this we strive to change disadvantaged people’s mind set and through our 1-2-1 intense support, to overcome their many barriers so they realise that they can have a positive future.

There is no age restriction to who we will support, however we believe that by supporting those in need at a young age we are more likely to break the cycle of deprivation. The overwhelming need is to stop the cycle before it gets out of hand.

We offer a bespoke quality 1-2-1 support focusing on overcoming barriers, working with each individual to achieve their goals through accessing the many opportunities that we offer or can help them access.

We have identified a gap in provision so that people can access our cafe/admin work placements where we focus on building their confidence/self-esteem and social skills to prepare them to return to education or training and then possibly, leading them into either volunteering or towards the job market.

Additionally, through our group sessions we bring people together helping to reduce their isolation and loneliness resulting in them having improved social skills so that they become enabled to access services by themselves.
