Compass

Compass works in communities across the UK to provide professional, confidential and supportive health and well-being services for adults and children and young people. These services include substance misuse treatment, early interventions for vulnerable young people, school aged health programmes and associated prevention, treatment and health promotion initiatives.

Coventry Compass supports young people up to the age of 18 who are affected by their own or another person’s substance misuse. As well as helping the individual, we support families and fellow professionals in the wider children’s workforce. We provide advice, motivation, practical support and structured treatment for drug or alcohol misuse and the issues associated with it, from poor sexual health to bereavement, involving the support of other professionals when needed.

Coventry Compass also offer a personalised service for young people aged from 8 up to 16 (or 20 for Looked After Children) who are affected by:

-Substance misuse
-Poor sexual health
-Teenage pregnancy
-Poor or abusive relationships

Our services help to prevent risks from escalating and requiring greater levels of support at a later stage.

With more than 14 years’ experience, we pride ourselves on offering a safe, confidential and compassionate service that welcomes young people from all backgrounds. Our support helps people to grow their confidence, capabilities and self-esteem and to build relationships with family and friends.
