Wolverhampton Connexions Centre

Careers Guidance and support for young people aged 13 to 19 and up to age 25 with Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities

Wolverhampton Connexions will support young people with SEN or at risk of being Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET) whilst they are in school. The service also supports school and college leavers who are NEET to get into learning and employment including apprenticeships. We give careers advice, support to make applications, coaching for interview success, advice on benefits for young people and supported referrasl to other agencies for young people facing additional barriers and vulnerabilities.
The service will attend professionals meetings such as CIN, CP, MASE and other meetings if appropriate and welcomes referrals from agencies.
Note that we only work with people living within the City of Wolverhampton.

Welcome to Connexions Wolverhampton

The information on this page is for all young people in Wolverhampton. It includes information and advice to help you to get ready for adult and working life.

Help for school and college students:

Your school should offer independent careers advice provided by a qualified careers guidance professional. Ask your Careers Teacher for more information.

Some students will get extra help from a Wolverhampton Connexions Personal Adviser.

Help after you leave school:

Visit the Connexions Centre for one to one confidential, impartial advice on all of the options available and guidance on how to make the best choice to achieve the career you want. If you need support with other issues such as housing, health and benefits, you will be assisted to access the most appropriate service for you.
